When you configure a connection type, you must specify the JDBC driver that the connection uses. The Integration service uses a JDBC driver to retrieve a list of database tables, views, or stored procedures when you create maps in Information Object Designer. For example, Figure 9-2 shows a list of tables in the Available pane.
