bidirectional text Text written in multiple languages, at least one of which reads from right-to-left (RTL) and one of which reads from left-to-right (LTR). When right-to-left text, such as Arabic, mixes with left-to-right text, such as English, in the same paragraph, each type of text is written in its own direction.
