About hyperlinks When designing a BIRT report, a report developer can add hyperlinks in the report. Hyperlinks enable users to navigate between information in one part of a report and related information in another part of the same report. Hyperlinks also enable users to view information stored in a different report. For example, a company sales report can contain a hyperlink that points to a more detailed report, breaking down the sales by geography and product line. In BIRT Studio, a report developer can create a hyperlink in a data column, or a BIRT chart.
