How to display timeseries in x-axis

Hi All,

 

I want to display time series in hrs+minutes format in Brit report, As attachment .

 

Note : The times series need to display difference of 1hour.

This should be out of the box. In the data tab of the chart wizard group the time on the hour. In the format chart tab under x-axis make sure 'Is Category Axis' is unchecked and type is DateTime

Hi Mica,

 

Thanks for your reply. I have made the changes as per your suggestion. Now I am able to get data in 1Hr intervals.

 

 

But i still have one problem. the chart is not displaying all the hours in a given window. instead, it is only showing the interval between the first data itema and the last data item. i would like it to display the whole interval, even when no data exists.

 

Is it possible in the chart? Or any custom Java code needs to require to fulfill my requirement.

Can you provide sample data and version of BIRT you are using?
