Text string limits in Actuate operations

Actuate’s internal data store imposes a fixed upper limit on the length of certain text strings. An application that uses elements such as user names, URLs, file types, and descriptions must adhere to these limits. Table 11‑1 lists the maximum field lengths for text elements in BIRT iHub Information Console and for elements you create using Actuate Information Delivery API.
